Dear Parents/Gardiuans,

Due to the current global situation, most of what we talk about it what is happening. Although it is quite a difficult situation for children to understand we should not leave them in the darkness about the situation, but we should enlighten them through child-friendly ways, such as this Document below. Fell free to print it or show it digitally to your children and help them understand the current situation, through such a child-friendly format.

I f you would like, when the child fills in the pages, send me the photos or scans and I will make a college with all the children’s works.

Active Inspire Photography Games

This week, during a morning circle time we did different activities to see what we know about photography and different cameras. moreover, these activities will be assigned as a free play station during other activities for children who are waiting for their turn to do the main activity.

Since the children seemed so excited and engaged during this session, I encourage you to download the flip chart and do the games with your child at home 🙂

Active Inspire

Since we do a number of games and activities in the classroom on the Active Inspire Software, it would be fun for the children to continue this learning experience at home. Therefore, I encourage you as parents/guardians to download and install this program on your home desktop computer. I will be posting the games and exercises we do in the ‘Educational Websites and Games’ Category every now and again.

I encourage you to do these activities with your children at home, as it enhances the learning of this experience, which has major benefits on the children’s holistic development.

Photography Project: I need your help

Since we will be starting the project regarding photography so soon, we need different things to make use of relating to this concept. Therefore, I need your help to bring things to school that you might think would be suitable for this project. From old dusty cameras that are no longer useful, to old camera film, to old family photos … anything related is appreiciated.

moreover, if you have any ideas for outings that you think would be beneficial during this project, as well as an opportunity for an expert to come and talk to the children, feel free to let me know 🙂

Starting a New Project

Based on the children’s Interests in the last few days, we will be starting a new project next Monday, and it will be Photography!

Seeing that the children are so interested in this form of documentation of their play, we will be discovering different types of cameras and instances when we take photos, as well as use actual cameras to take photos!
